Access to the Fan Zone in Poznan

 

 

 

 

Entrances

 

Disabled supporters can enter the fan zone with their personal assistants via 3 Maja Street. The accessible entrance will be clearly visible using universal pictograms. Disabled supporters can use the drop-off point at Ratajczaka Street, but must apply for a permit well in advance.

 

Trained volunteers will be present at the accessible entrance to offer help and assistance should you require it. All entrances to the fan zone will be widened as to be accessible for disabled supporters. There will be 4 gates altogether - 3 at Marcinkowskiego Alley and 1 at the entrance from 23 Lutego Street. Security workers and volunteers (1 person at each gate) will offer help getting to the fan zone.

 


Surface

 

The surface in the fan zone and most of the surrounding area is paved.

 

 

Stopping Places

 

At Ratajczaka Street there will be designated stopping places for taxis and cars used by disabled supporters. In order to be granted access to a specific stopping place, you should apply for a permit well in advance.

 

 

Platform for disabled spectators

 

A platform in the fan zone will be exclusively reserved for disabled supporters and their personal assistants. This platform will be close to both the stage and VIP area at Wolności Place. The area will be fully accessible, well lit and has a ramps and a roof. Seats will also be provided for personal assistants.

 

 

Toilets

 

15 toilets, out of 150 within the fan zone, are accessible and exclusively for disabled supporters to use.

 

 

Catering


The catering centre at Wolności Place (near the VIP zone) will be accessible and equipped with driveways. There will be 6 catering centres altogether within the fan zone.

 


Information

 

An audio induction loop together with technical service and necessary equipment will be available for deaf and hard of hearing supporters. There will also be a sign language interpreter available during all matches including extra-time and penalty shoot-outs. A toilet will also be prepared for assistance dogs, with disposable gloves, waste bags, bowls and water.
